Powhatan’s Only Dedicated Bicycle Repair Shop

Welcome to Wheelhouse Cycles — Powhatan’s only dedicated bicycle repair shop.

Every rider deserves dedicated focus and dependable service. That’s the whole philosophy here. Rather than the corporate, assembly-line approach, I offer tailored care to every single bike that comes through the door.

How Wheelhouse Cycles Got Started

My story started at a young age when I first discovered cycling, but everything changed in 2003 when I was introduced to mountain bikes. That spark grew into a lifelong passion—leading me to ride with local clubs, coach for a NICA mountain bike team, and even do some racing. Over the years, I also dedicated hundreds of hours volunteering alongside the Department of Natural Resources to build trails on the Quantico Marine Corps Base.

Serving Powhatan, Goochland & Beyond

Eventually I retired and moved to the area, but my heart never left cycling. That enduring passion is what drove me to open Wheelhouse Cycles—a small, dedicated workshop built to offer a truly local, personalized experience for riders in Powhatan, Goochland, and the surrounding communities.
